Our managing veterinarian, Dr. Jennifer Gerometta Peacock, was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. After graduating valedictorian of Manistique High School in 1995, she attended Harvard University where she received her bachelors’ degree in Biology. She was a four year varsity letter winner in ice hockey while at Harvard, winning the National Championship her senior year. Dr. Peacock graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine after completing her clinical year at Iowa State University in December 2007. She joined North 23rd Street Animal Hospital in March 2008 prior to their relocation to North 10th Street Animal Hospital. Dr. Peacock is also has her certificate in Veterinary Acupuncture through the acclaimed International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. She resides in Mission, TX with her husband and their three children along with an assortment of dogs, cats, birds, and pocket pets. When she is not working at the clinic, Dr. Peacock can be found cheering her kids on at their sporting events or camping at the beach.
