Cecilia attended Sam Houston State University were she received her Bachelors of Science in Animal Science.  Before joining our team in 2023 she was a veterinary technician at general practice clinics for small animals and exotics and did this while finishing her undergrad.  Her future plans include attending veterinary school and becoming a wildlife and exotic veterinarian.  Her passion includes the rehabilitation and conservation of our wildlife and she volunteers her free time at the Sea Turtle Inc at South Padre Island.  This is where she gets to enjoy the education and conservation work for our local sea turtles.  She also loves to garden and volunteers any free time at the Edinburg Community Garden.  She has adorable fur babies of her own named Soldier, Demma, Jupiter and a couple of strays that she takes care of.
